I served with Eddie on the USS Dubuqe, I remember him as a respectful, hard working Sailor who always smiled. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family, he was a fine young man. Eddie, Shipmate, rest easy...your Navy family have the watch!! God bless you!

please accept my deepest sympathy Eddie and served together on the USS Dubuque, I was one of his supervisors. He was a hard working young man who never bothered anyone, He will be Missed dearly. I am truly sorry for loss.

Eddie, any man's death diminishes all of mankind which simply means that often times when a person passes over who we do not know on an individual basis, it still effects us because we know a member of their family. Our reaching out is to that family member with love to help them through the challenge of getting through the loss of their loved one. Know that you are loved and you and your family are in my prayers.

I met Eddie on Chelsea and from the first time i met him he has been a big part of not only mine but both of my childrens, Sherida and Derick Harris, lives. The more i got to know him the more i came to love him like he was my own. I feel so very blessed to have known him and the rest of the family. Whenever he made a cd he made sure that i got one and he never came home or left without coming to see me. Thank you God for Putting such a wonderful young man in my life. Eddie will truly be missed by not only me but every person who's lives he has touched. Rest in peace Eddie Bowens I Love You Forever.
