My condolences for the Adams family and friends. I sympathize with you in the loss of your loved one. Though your hearts are deeply saddened, the Bible gives you a reason to rejoice, Rejoice that death will be done away with completely and will never be brought to mind again. (Revelation 21:3,4). Rejoice that you have the opportunity of being reunited with your loved one again in the grand resurrection Jesus spoke of at John 5:28,29.
