Obituary of Dwight H. Johnson Dwight Henry Johnson was born one of 8 children on November 24, 1949, to the union of Allen and Mattie Johnson in Paducah, KY. He was preceded in death by parents Allen and Mattie and sister Jacqrelan Johnson. Dwight professed his faith in Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lorain. He was an individual that was married to his thoughts and beliefs which were high and family values. He was a wonderful brother and uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Dwight made his transition on September 9, 2016 in the Aristocrat of Berea. He dismissed himself from the troubles of the world. He enjoyed playing chess, card games and computers. He was a graduate of Lorain High School class of 1968 where he was in the chess club. Dwight also graduated from John Hopkins University where he received one of his degrees and also attended Lorain County Community College and Oberlin College. He will be sorely missed by his loved ones. He leaves to mourn 6 siblings: Allen Ross (Tine) of Denmark, Mayevelyn Mallory of Orlando, FL, David Wayne (Deborah) Johnson Sr., and Stefan Koda Johnson both of Lorain, Naomi (Charles) Makutuya of Fort Worth, TX and Ruth I. Johnson of Lorain and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Friends may call on Saturday September 17th, 2016 from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Life service and Repass at The Slovak Home 2915 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44055.
