Wylie McDowell

Wylie McDowell 67 of Elyria, passed away on Thursday December 14,2023 peacefully at his home. Wylie was born September 14, 1956, in Elyria, Ohio.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching old time western movies and listening to music.

He honorably served in The United States Marine Corp.

He leaves to cherish his memory son Michael Hughes of Elyria, daughters Jenetta Newson (Allen) and Latisha Capers, of Lorain brother Allen Hall of Kansas City, Sister Sallie Rowe of Elyria and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Betty McDowell, son Wylie S. McDowell, brothers William Board and Alfred Thomas jr.

 A viewing will be held Wednesday December 27th at 12pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 1pm at Carter’s Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St Elyria, OH
