Willie James “Buddy” Gardner, 59 of Lorain went home to be with the lord on September 10, 2020 after a short illness.

Buddy was a well known person in the neighborhood, he loved stopping and talking to everybody and always had you laughing. He will be truly missed by so many.

He was survived by his brothers, Michael (Vanessa) Gardner, Otis (Cheri) Jenkins and sister, Diane Gardner, and aunts, Mary Gardner and Helen Edwards; nieces, Yolanda Gardner, Shanqurl Gardner, Evelyn Gardner(Malkeyo) Jackson; nephews, Isaiah Gardner, Nehemiah Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Hill and Evelyn Gardner; uncle, Rev. Willie Gardner; sister, Shirley Ann Gardner; brother, Spencer Jenkins.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave, Lorain. From 11:00 a.m. till time of service at 12:00 noon. Rev. Otis Jenkins will officiate.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you are required to wear a MASK and Social Distancing is a must. ALL DONATIONS CAN BE MADE TO CARTER FUNERAL HOME
