Willie Seymore (aka....Bill) Obituary

Mr. Willie Edward Seymore ....aka "Bill" was born July 8, 1944 in Elyria, Ohio to the late Mary Harmon Seymore and Willie F. Seymore. Bill attended the Elyria School System in Elyria, Ohio. Bill attended Jones Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Elyria, Ohio.

Bill married Ethel Marie Tolliver –Seymore, May 26, 1990. They were married for 28 years. They made their home in Elyria, Ohio.

Bill was employed as US Steel for 40 years and retired. Bill also was an Army Veteran and a Mason. Bill enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Bill memories will be cherished by his loving wife, Ethel Marie Seymore; daughter, Fatina Monique Tolliver; son, Willie George Montgomery; 2 grandsons, Jamal Edward Tolliver and Marquez Lee Weaver; 2 great-grandchildren, Jamal Edward Tolliver Jr. and Amora Weaver; his mother-in-law, Betty Sue Tolliver of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Evelyn Nelson of Elyria, Ohio; sister-in-laws, Sondra (Keith) Williams, Atlene Sims, both of Cleveland, Ohio; brother-in-law, Arthur James Tolliver  Jr (Wanda)  of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Willie F Seymore and Mary Harmon Seymore; and his very special father-in-law, Arthur James Tolliver Sr.

Friends may call Friday, May 25, 2018, in the Carter Funeral Chapel 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service 12:00 noon. Pastor Larry Harville of Good Shepard Baptist Church of Elyria will officiate.
