Willie Mae Mastin was born on December 1, 1935, to Eddie Carol & Willie Virge in Madison Alabama. “Mae” as she was affectionately called, married USAF Airman Raymond Mastin in Ringgold GA, on May 25, 1953. There were four children from this union, Angela, Ronnie “Raymond”, Carolyn and an infant daughter, Andrea Doria, who died at birth. They were happily married for 52 years. Mae and her family traveled the world together as an Air Force family, living in France, England and the Panama Canal Zone. When Mae and Raymond married, their families became one and remain so to this day.
Mae was employed at Nickels Bakery for 30 years and formed many life-long friendships. Mae was a woman of God and joined Bethany Presbyterian Church in 1975. Everywhere Mae went she shared love. Her infectious smile made everyone feel special. She lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Las Vegas Nevada, where she was loved and cared for until her transition to be with the Lord.
