William E. Phoenix Obituary

William E. Phoenix (61) received his wings in the UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born in on March 19, 1959 to Carlos L. Sr. and Lillie E. (Hamlin) Phoenix. He was reunited with his parents; sister, Sandra E. Phoenix and brother, Carlos L. Phoenix on December 19, 2020.

William is survived by his siblings, James, Eugene, David, Richard, John, Ellen (Greeno) and Gayle (Esperanza). Bill or Billy, as he was loving known by many was and will always, be the favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Billy was a brightness in the in the darkness and though he could be a man of very few words, he had a smile that could light up a room and laugh that lifted spirits.

To honor Billy’s memory, we ask that you take care of each other, love with all your heart, and laugh as often as you can.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
