July 24, 1959 ~ September 30, 2021 (age 62) 62 Years Old

William Brown Obituary

On Wednesday September 30, 2021, William Brown Jr (aka) “Boogie” transitioned away from suffering, pain, and tears. William was a loving son, father, grandfather,  brother, uncle, nephew and cousin to many. 

He was born July 24 to the late William F Brown Sr and Barbara J Brown in Elyria Oh. He was the second of six children. 

 William attended Oberlin City Schools and worked as a laborer and extended help to those within his community, he enjoyed spending time with family and friend, as well as listening to music and watching western television shows. 

William was united in Holy Matrimony to Barbara Jean Cosey, to this union two children were born Monica Richelle Brown and William F Brown III. 

 

He was preceded in death by his father William F Brown Sr, paternal grandparents  

James O Sr and Mary V Brown, maternal grandparents William T Sr and Ida B Hill, wife Barbara Jean Cosey. 

 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother Barbara J Brown, two daughters Shanica Brown Capers of Minnesota,

Monica R Brown of Alabama, a Son William F Brown III of Alabama, 10 grandchildren, a devoted sister Deborah D Brown of Elyria, a sister Kimberly L of Georgia, 

And three brothers James K., Howard O., and Christopher E Brown all of Elyria, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends

 

Family and friends may be received on October 16, 2021, for viewing at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Following 

Services at 11:00 AM, at Original Church Of God 512 Edward Ave, Elyria Oh 44035
