William Will Board

William Will Board, 60, transitioned on Thursday, November 4, 2021, after a long illness. He was born on July 16, 1961, to the union of Oswald & Ruby (née Frisby) Board. At the age of 4 he lovingly became the son of Cletus and Geraldine (née Board) Grantham. 

William graduated from Elyria West High School in 1980 where he excelled in track and football. For many years he worked at Superior Roll Forming and in maintenance at Middle Ridge McDonald’s. Most recently he worked at Turbotron. 

He will be sadly missed by his wife Ruby Board (née Taylor), Father Cletus Grantham, Son James O Taylor, Daughters; Andrea Carpenter (affectionately called Honeybee), Pierrcia Board & Jillyan TD Taylor. Granddaughters Faith Carpenter, Jamiah Watts, Journi-Simone Gibson and great granddaughter Nova Martin.  Brothers; Calvin (Penni) Board, Timothy Board, Bruce Board, Anthony (Joann) Grantham, Perry (Denise) Grantham, Darrell Grantham, Kymoy Grantham, sisters; Audrey (Perry) Young, Ruby Evans, Beverly Board, Laurie Grantham & Marla (Richard) Boone, his special niece Shaundra Board and her son Aundra Board also a host of many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents William & Josephine Board, Mother Geraldine Grantham, brothers Ozzie Board & Aundra Board. 

Family and friends are welcome to visit Saturday November 20, 2021, between the hours of 11:00am until 12:00 Noon, services start at 12:00 Noon, at Greater Christ Temple 123 Oberlin Rd, Elyria, Ohio 44035
