Valerie A Brooks

Valerie A. Brooks, 65, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Valerie was born to Gus and Alma Greenhill on October 5, 1955 in Lorain, Ohio.

Valerie enjoyed cooking, music, and being around her family and friends. She was a kind hearted, helping person.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Gregory Greenhill (Quiana}; sisters, Renee Fenderson  and Vickie Greenhill of Lorain, Ohio; brothers, Willie Payne, Clifford Greenhill (Emma), Garry Greenhill, and Raymond Jackson (Marlene) all of Lorain, Ohio; three grandchildren, Alisha Greenhill of Texas, Gregory Greenhill Jr. of Lorain, Ohio, Quivon Greenhill of Elyria, Ohio; one great-grandchld, Savion; and fianc’e, Bruce Felder, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Greenhill and father, Gus Greenhill; brothers, Fredrick and Sherman Greenhill; sister, Sandra Greenhill,

Family and Friends may be received on Saturday, May 22, 2021, in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 3001 Elyria Ave, Lorain. A walk-thru will begin at 10:00AM until 11:00AM. The “Celebration of Life” will begin at 11:00AM. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.. Please wear a mask and social distance.
