Traci Levette Williams

Traci Levette Williams passed away on August 21, 2024, in Elyria, Ohio at the age of 48. Born on December 20, 1975, in Cleveland, Ohio, Traci was a vibrant presence, known for her beautiful smile and outgoing personality.

Traci attended Elyria West High School before pursuing her passion at the Northern Institute of Cosmetology. She built a fulfilling career in customer service, where she was appreciated for her dedication and warmth.

A lover of life, Traci enjoyed shopping, traveling, and music, but her greatest joy was dancing, whether at a party or quietly at home. She cherished moments spent with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Gammy.

Traci is survived by her mother, Gale Washington; siblings, Albert Hardy (Jonna), Tawana Carter (Angelo), and Steven Ransom (Danicka); children, Travonte' Williams (Ashley), Shatyra Williams, Alfred Tyrone Summers Jr. (Nicole), and Harmony Alston, whom she raised as her own. Her life companion, Base, also survives her.

Traci was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lucy and Prince Fitzpatrick; stepfather, Lorenzo Washington; and sister, Nicole Crutcher.

A memorial service will be held at Greater Christ Temple, 123 Oberlin Rd, Elyria, OH 44035 on August 29, 2024. The wake is scheduled from 10-11 AM EST, followed by the funeral service. A private burial will take place, with a repass to follow at Greater Christ Temple.
