Tommy Perkins Obituary

Tommy Perkins passed away October 17th, 2022, at the age of59 in Westlake, Ohio.

His battle with a serious medical issue in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Tommy came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Tommy was born April 17th, 1963, to the late Arlean Allen (nee shepherd) and Walter Allgood in Elyria, Ohio.

He graduated from Elyria High School class of 1981 after graduation Tommy was employed at Timms Springs in Elyria for over 10 years he then went on to become a master carpenter, his other interest includes art, basketball, football, and fishing, but his pride and joy was his 3 grandchildren.

Tommy leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Stephanie (Shelton) Perkins, Daughter Nicole Perkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Sons; Tommy (Angelee) Hagler of Elyria, Ohio, and Jonathan (Sonya) Perkins of Columbus, Ohio, 2 granddaughters; Ta’Miya Hagler, Ta’Lena Hagler, and 1 grandson Ty’Saiah Hagler all of Elyria, Ohio, 3 sisters; Allison Allgood-Pankey. Denise Perkins, Peggy Crutcher,7 brothers; Ricky Allgood, Tim Allgood (Tina), Anthony Allgood, Bruce Allen, Jeffery Perkins, Kenny Allgood (Rose), Humphery Allgood (Sabrina), Demetrius Allgood. also a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Father Walter Allgood, Mother Arlean Allen (nee Shepherd), sister Sherrita Perkins, brother’s James (chief) Allgood, Dwight Perkins, Michael Allen, Walter (Bubba) Allgood, Wayne Perkins.

Viewing service will be held Tuesday October 25, 2022, from 5 to 7 pm. Walk through services will be held Wednesday October 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., both at Carter Funeral Home 127 West Bridge St., Elyria, OH 44035
