Tip W Thomas

Tip W. Thomas, 101, of Elyria, OH, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2021 in the Amherst Manor. She was born in Chambers, Alabama on October 27, 1918, coming to Elyria, OH, in 1958.

She was employed as a cook for Casey Restaurant/Gyro House of Elyria, for many years.

She was survived by a daughter, W.Pearl Mines, of Amherst; grandson, Robert “Pee Wee” White of Elyria; great-grandson, Christon White of Jeffersonville, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Thomas in 1975; grandson, Bobby White; host of brothers and sisters.

Family and Friends will be received on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Fairfield Christian Center, 2002 E. 28th Street, Lorain. The “Celebration of Life” will begin at 6:00 PM.  Bishop Dennis R. Johnson will officiate.
