Thomas E. "T-New" Newson Jr  

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas E. "T-New" Newson Jr. T-New passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 43. Born August 10, 1982, in Elyria, Ohio Tommy was well known for his cool calm demeanor, he had a way with words and an unmatched ability to make those around him feel truly seen and loved. T-New had a unique vibrance; his humor could light up the darkest rooms, and his big heart left a lasting mark on lives he touched. He was really big on Loyalty as well. 

He is survived by his parents Andra "Nook" Robinson and Thomas E. "Big Tommy" Newson Sr, his children Zyon, Zharia, Zabella (Jasmine Howard), Jaianna ( Terjen Russell), Triumph and Ti'yomi (Taquila Blue), and siblings Iesha, Chardae, Tymerus and Richard, as well as a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly. 

Tommy will be greeted in eternity by his maternal grandparents Dorthy "Dot" Robinson and Leon Palmer Robinson Sr, paternal grandparents Josephine Newson and John L Newson, his Aunts Pamela Robinson, Mary Henderson, and uncles James "skin" Moore, John L "Bo" Newson II, Richard T Newson and Leon Palmer Robinson II. 

Though Tommy departed this world entirely too soon, the impact of his love and echo of his laughter will remain with us forever. We find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and that his spirit will live on in the stories we share as well as the love we all hold in our hearts.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday June 9, 2026, at 11am with a Celebration of Life to begin at 12 noon located at God's Kingdom Ministries 423 Washington Ave Lorain, Ohio.
