Theeodore H Wilson Sr.

Theodore H “T” Wilson Sr. (73) of Elyria made his transition on December 31, 2018, following a brief illness. He was born in Oberlin, Oh, coming to Elyria, Oh, in 1966.  

Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the US Navy, listed in North Folk, VA., and served as a hospital corpsman on the US Navy ship.

He was employed as a Child Support officer for the Lorain County Human Services and retiring in 1982.

Mr. Wilson accepted the “Lord Jesus Christ” at an early age.

He enjoyed collecting classical cars and avid gardening, and being with family and friends.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Theodore (Tammy) Wilson Jr., of Tacoma, Washington, Damon M. Wilson, of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter, Maria Wilson of Lakewood, Oh; 4 grandchildren; brothers, James Wilson of Elyria, and William (Billy) Mason of Shorewood, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; caregiver, Janice L Turner; brother-in-law, Aaron Roseboro Sr. of Lorain, Oh and Bruce Davis of Columbus, Oh

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Wilson; wife, Marilyn C. Wilson of 50 years; son, Oswald Board; brother, Sylvester Wilson; sister, Emma Jean Edwards.

Please join us on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, from 10:00 am until celebration of life at 11:00 am in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria, Oh 44035. Pastor Arnette Thornton will officiate. Burial at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
