T. Arthur Johnson

T. Arthur Johnson of Elyria, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2026, following a brief illness. T. Arthur Johnson was born in Demopolis, Alabama, on October 10, 1955.

T. Arthur was a graduate of Elyria High School. He worked at Ford Motor Company for many years. He enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and spending time with family. He was also a member of Transformation Outreach Ministries. He will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, daughter Nia M. Betton (Reggie), his sons, Martees L. Johnson (Kenya), Jermaine O. Johnson, all of Elyria, his siblings, Cornelius Johnson, Anthony Johnson (Tutrish), both of Elyria, Brenda Jones (William) of Sheffield, Gladys Johnson (Elyria); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

T. Arthur was preceded in death by his son T. Arthur Johnson Jr. (Man), mother Creola Johnson, sisters Gloria Johnson, Gwendolyn Johnson, and brother Eddie Carl Johnson.

ORDER OF SERVICE WILL BE FRIDAY JULY 31, 2026, VIEWING AT 11AM WITH A CELEBRATION OF LIFE AT 12 NOON LOCATED AT CARTER FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL 127 W. BRIDGE ST. ELYRIA, OHIO 44035.
