Sylvester Oliver passed into eternity on June 5th 2023 peacefully at home.He was born and raised in Elyria Ohio and was a man of many means.
He enjoyed boxing during his younger years, was a craftsman, carpenter and specialized in many trades.
Sylvester was a prideful family man, generous with neighbors and cherished his beloved animals. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents Harvey Lee Oliver Sr. and Anne Mae Oliver. His sisters Annie Qualls and Jeanette Oliver- Lewis. Brothers T.L Flowers, John Flowers, Harvey Oliver and Eddie Oliver.
Sylvester is survived by his sister Marion Mason and his brother Phillip Oliver. His children Richard Jackson, Terry Nelson, Al Howse, Andrew Oliver, Celeste Howse, Sylania Oliver, Crystal (Oliver) Wood and grandchildren all from Elyria.
There will be a private service.
