Sonya Marie Rudolph B.K.A. “Mina” left for Heaven unexpectedly February 10th, 2024, at 48 years of age in Lorain, Ohio. Mina was born in Elyria, Ohio, daughter to Crystal M. Rudolph and Mike Owens.
She excelled in basketball and had a strong talent for football. She was a sports fanatic and could talk about these two sports all day long. Her favorite color was orange. She was an avid Browns and Lakers fan. She was the “Party” everywhere she went, loved by so many people. Her strong spirit and humorous personality touched you immediately and anytime you called she was there. She always and especially supported family functions. Mina went to Cadiz High for her education and had interests in science and art.
Mina knew GOD and always positive and encouraging words to give to others. Mina read her bible daily, AMEN.
Mina is survived by sister Paula Rudolph (Lorain, Ohio), sister Sonnyta Rudolph (Elyria, Ohio), brother Fred Rudolph (Elyria, Ohio), 4 nephews, 3 nieces, her favorite Aunt Judy Hale (nee Rudolph) Lorain, Ohio, Aunt Renee’ and Uncle Mike Banks co-favs (Cadiz, Ohio), cousins: Jean West, Tameka West, and Jerry West of Cadiz, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her mother Crystal M. Rudolph and her father Mike Owens.
A viewing will be held at Carter Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St Elyria, Ohio from 10am to 12pm.
Repass will be at Marcell Hall 117 Oberlin Rd Elyria, Ohio from 1pm to 4pm.
