SHIRLEY E SANDERS

Shirley E Shaw-Colvin-Sanders of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly at Elyria Memorial Hospital on Saturday February 18th,2023. She was born June 6, 1949.

She was chairperson of the BUS Ministry and Vice President of the Deaconess Mothers Ministry at Second Baptist Church of Elyria. She enjoyed spending time with family and her church ministry and helping others.

She is survived by her three sons George (Sonia) Colvin of Lorain; Kenneth Colvin of Elyria and Damon Colvin of Elyria, sister Margret Shaw of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Shaw and Mamie Thomas, sister Lula Jean Miller, and husband Willie T. Sanders.

Friends and family will be received from 10a-11a Friday March 3rd, 2023, at Second Baptist Church in Elyria, with a celebration to follow.
