Shea Lynsey Thomas

With broken hearts, Mac and Karen Thomas share the untimely death of their only child, Shea Lynsey Thomas on January 4th, 2025. Shea was born prematurely on a beautiful summer day, June 16th, 1992, one day before their 10th wedding anniversary.

Her devoted grandmothers lovingly helped raise her and were an important part of her life. They welcome her, much too soon with open arms.

Shea thrived and went on to live a remarkable, but challenging, all-too-brief life. Her beautiful smile and loving personality could brighten any room. Shea loved helping people and animals.

Shea graduated from Elyria High School where she was involved with music and sports. She continued her education at Cleveland State University where she graduated cum laude with a double major. Her career involved helping others, which was her sweet spot.

Left to cherish her memory are her heart-broken parents, Mac and Karen Thomas, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 18th, 2025, at Carter Funeral Home 127 W Bridge St Elyria, OH. Family and friends will be received from 1pm-2pm with words of comfort and remarks from 2pm-3pm.
