Savonne Williams

Savonne Williams 66, of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 28th, 2022, following a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Elyria, Ohio. She was born September 22,1956.

Savonne was a graduate of Elyria West High School, Class of 1976. She was employed as a nurse's aide, for West Bay Manor in Westlake for 16 years, and was employed with Life Care Center of Elyria as a laundry aide for 11 years.

She was a member of Good Sheperd Baptist Church of Elyria where she served as Trustee, Youth Advisor, Bible Study Ministry Leader, Member of the Adult Choir, and Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed traveling, watching movies, shopping, going out to eat, collecting dolls and listening to music. 

She is survived by her daughters, Erica L. Duvall and Ashley R. Williams both of Elyria, Ohio and her husband Walter C Williams Jr, Sisters Dakota L. Gant of Pittsburg, CA and Kimberly E. Duvall of Elyria, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Carlton Duvall and Willa Duvall.

Services will be held on Thursday January 12th, 2023, at Good Shepherd Church located at 244 9th St Elyria, Ohio 44035.

Viewing will be at 10am and services following immediately after at 11am.
