Rolando "Landy" E Pilson

Rolando “Landy” E. Pilson Sr, born September 4th, 1981, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, in Elyria.

Landy has always had a passion for cars and motorcycles. His passion led him to owning his own mechanic shop, He was a very hard worker. In his spare time, he loved riding his motorcycle, joy rides in his car or lifting weights. Most of all he loved his family, friends and 3 family dogs. He will be missed by many.

Rolando is survived by his wife, Penny Pilson, Mother, Ronya Pilson-Bennett, Father, Ronnie and Angela Shepherd, His Children, Da’Shaun Thompson, Rolando Pilson Jr, Daveon Pilson, Marquae Pilson, Alasia Pilson, Dezaria Pilson, Kamia Pilson, Davontae Pilson, Kamara Pilson, Kalel Pilson, Tray’Von Pilson, step-son Kajuan Reese, Brothers  Naymon Perkins, Markeyus Durham, Taz Shepherd, Ronnie Shepherd, Demetrius Beard, Sisters, Laketa Alston, Turquoise Shepherd, He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Landy was preceded in death by his Grandfather Harry Pilson, Grandmother, Frankie Pilson, Grandmother, Johnnie Pearl Shepherd, Grandfather Roy Shepherd, and Stepson Khire Lateef.

Services will be held Tuesday January 18th, 2022, at 2nd Baptist Church 427 Chapman Ln 16th St, Elyria, OH 44035. Visitation starts at 10am followed by his final farewell at 11am. Officiating Bishop Steve Elias Robinson of City of Deliverance International Ministries will be conducting services. Interment at burial at Brookdale Cemetery.
