Robert Moore Obituary

Robert C. Moore went to his heavenly home on October 30, 2020 after a short illness. He was born in Elyria, OH., and spent most of his life in Elyria and surrounding areas.

Robert was a graduate of Elyria High School, class of 1965. He was a member of his grandparent’s church, New Hope AME Zion, in Lorain, OH. He liked helping others and animals that were in need. Later in life he enjoyed hearing good sermons.

Robert is survived by his sisters, Claudette (William) Hill of Elyria, OH., Joyce (Gilbert) Brown of Lorain, OH., Jennie (Alex) Drummer of Lorain, OH., Roberta Sadler of Hercules, California; brothers, Claude (Charlotte) Moore of Saginaw, Michigan, Carman Moore of New York City; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Jessie Moore (nee Franklin), and sister, Vivian Lee Underwood.

Friends may be received on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel/Elyria 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria. A Walk-Thru will be from 11:00a.m. until 11:30a.m. The Celebration of Life will start at 11:30a.m.
