Richard "Big Richard" Williams

Richard” Big Richard” Williams, 68, of Elyria, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2021, after a short illness. He was born in Elyria moving to Alabama at an early age, returning back to Elyria.

He was employed with the Chronicle Telegram newspaper in the press department in 2012. He enjoyed fishing, music, video games, and watching western on tv.

He leaves to cherish his memories is his brothers, Bill (Frankie) Williams, Chester Field Williams, Joseph (Sue) Williams of South Carolina; sister, Mattie Williams of Elyria, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sallie Williams; brothers Abraham Williams, and Jimmie Williams that passed on March 23, 2021; sisters, Julie and Fannie Williams; grandmother, Sallie Johnson.

Family and Friends will be received on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Carter Funeral Home/Chapel, 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria. A Walk-Thru will be held from 10:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM. Social distancing and Mask are required.
