It is with deep sorrow and love that we mourn the passing of Rexel Rickey Cantry of Elyria, Ohio on Friday, May 29,220, at the age of 69.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Cantry and Rexel Durham, also his adopted parents, Uncle Thomas and Aunt Dorothy White.

He left to cherish his memories hid daughter, Shirlena Wright of Texas and son, Lewis “Squeak” “Pops” Thomas of Elyria; five grandchildren, Christian Kimbrough and Serentity Courtney both of Texas, Toree Thomas, Kobe Thomas and Lewis Gallangher of Elyria, Oh.; three brothers, Maurice Canty of Navassa, NC, Nathan Canty of Texas, and Rubin Cantry of New York City, one sister, Yvonne Canty of Navassa, NC., two uncles, Blease White(Bettie) of Indiana and John Pinkney (Stella) of New York City and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Service will take place at Carter Funeral Home, 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain, OH on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 1:00p.m. YOU MUST WEAR A MASK
