Raymona Davis

Raymona Davis was born on November 6th, 1955, in Elyria, OH to Raymond and Eunice (Johnson) Davis. 

Her journey ended on Thursday March 24th, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family whom she loved dearly. 

Raymona graduated from Elyria High School in 1974, she was a lifelong member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. 

Raymona was a former employee of Merit Bank and The HMC Group from which she retired, she loved her sports, and was an avid Cavs and Browns fan. She also liked doing her store runs AKA Game Rooms. 

Raymona loved to read, her favorite things to read where the Bible, and books from Authors James Patterson and John Grisham, Raymona always dressed to impress but did it with grace, she loved fashion. 

She is survived by her children Ayana Sharpe of Elyria, OH, and Montress Sharpe Sr. of Elyria, OH, 3 sister Robbie (Duane) Merriweather of Elyria, OH, Annie Jean Davis of Elyria, OH and Lillie Jo Owens of Elyria, OH, 2 brothers Ronnie Davis of Tampa, FL and Michael Davis of Elyria, OH, 6 grandchildren Dominique Sharpe, Tre Nolan, Montress Sharpe Jr. Daisy Sharpe, Zaire Sharpe and Kyson Sharpe, 3 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were near and dear to her heart. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eunice Davis, her son Gregory Sharpe Jr. Brother Danny Davis Sr., grandparents Annie Rose and Dan Whitten, and Lillie and Johnnie Johnson, Aunts Lucy Bulger, Mary Lee Tiller, Lizzie Glenn, Ozzie Johnson, Maude Stewart, Johnnie Bell price, Lois Griffin, Hattie Tolbert, Pearl Durr, and uncles Fred Johnson and Fernie Johnson. 

Family and friends will be received on Friday April 1st, 2022, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church 326 Fuller Rd, Elyria, OH, walk through from 10:00am until 11:00 am, “The Celebration Of Life” will follow afterward at 11:00 am. 

Interment at Brookdale Cemetery.
