Mother Gracie Partlow Obituary

Mother Gracie Partlow was born on February 15, 1929, in Greenville, Alabama, to Raymond and Alien (Johnson) Bedgood.  She departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2020. She was 91 years old and the beloved wife of the late Thomas Partlow.

She lived in Elyria, Ohio for many years were she was a member of Mt.  Zion Baptist Church/Elyria. She was a member of the UAW Local #996 and served on the church missionary and choir. She was employed by Trio Products. She later moved to Jacksonville, Florida.

She is survived by her children; William Mitchell (Dasie), Levoyus Partlow (Patti), Thomas Partlow Jr., David L. Partlow (Sherryl), Maelene Cole(Joe); sisters, Juanita(late Frank) Agee, Irene (late Don) Wilson; brother, Willie George (late Annie) Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thomas Partlow; sisters, Carrie Hawkins (JT Hawkins), Lucille Johnson, Cora Lee Harris, Ann Lou Pouncy, and Daisy Lowery; brothers, Ray Lee Johnson, James W. Johnson, and Robert Lee Johnson

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in the Mt Zion Baptist Church, 614 W. River Rd. N.  Elyria, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be Monday, August 24, 2020. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you are required to wear a MASK and Social Distancing is a must.
