Mother Grace Taylor was called to her final resting place on Sunday, June 13, 2021. She was born on October 19, 1931 to the late John and Maggie McGee of Winchester, TN. Grace was an active and longtime member of the Original Church of God, Elyria, OH.
She loved the Lord and was faithful. She served as a mother assistant of the mother’s board and as the leader of the jr. usher board and helped in the kitchen.
Mother Grace was a praying women and put God first in all parts of her life. She enjoyed cooking and listening to gospel music and loved going to church. She worked as a home-care aide for many years. She will always be remembered for her love of God, family and close friends from Ohio to Tennessee.
Mother Grace is preceded in death by her daughter, Gracie Mae Camel-White; son, William “Pookie” Taylor; brothers, MacArthur, J.W and Joe McGee; sisters, Fannie Mae and Rosie Mae McGee;
She leaves to cherish her memories her granddaughters, Tasha Camel of Elyria, OH. Jasmine Taylor-Hood of Lorain, OH; grandson, Javier Taylor of Columbus, OH. 7 great-grandchildren: Gracie Taylor, Jaya Taylor, J’me Hood, Desnique Camel, Jada Hood, Javier Taylor Jr., and Javion Taylor; and a host of family and close friends from Ohio to Tennessee.
Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in the Original Church of God, Elyria, OH. A viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A “Celebration of Life” promptly after. Interment will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, OH.
