Miles Tyrone Burch, age 60, died on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Mercy Regional hospital in Lorain Ohio where he was stricken with illness. He was born March 28, 1960 to Elijah and Christine Burch in Youngstown, Ohio.
Miles joined the United States Army at the age of 17 where he completed his high school education and served in the armed forces honorably. He returned to Ohio and Married Michelle McCaskill November 1988. From this union came his daughter Jocelyn Burch. Miles pursued a career as an STNA working in nursing homes, adult group homes, and made his way to Lorain Community Hospital where he met his wife Renay in 1996. The two wed June 15, 2002. From this union he gained children, Chanelle Ciaccio (Stevenson), Twuan, Ariane, Brianna, Shwuan, and Waverly Stevenson.
Miles retired as a Dialysis Technician in 2011. He enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, fishing, watching sports with his kids, playing cards, serving in his church, and leading a men's group at the men’s house.
After retirement Miles spent his days as an ordained minister serving in his church Full Gospel Faith Fellowship Church, as well as working for the Valor Home, assisting veterans.
He is proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his brother Anthony Burch and sister, Gina (Ray) Tarver.
He leaves to mourn his father, Elijah (Nora) Burch, mother, Christine Burch (Benjamin), wife of 18 years Renay Burch (Stevenson), children, Jocelyn Burch, Chanelle (John) Ciaccio, Twuan, Ariane, Brianna, Shwuan, and Waverly Stevenson, grandchildren, Brendan, Vivianna, Hayden, Valentino, Elivia, Kayden, Jeremias, Sophia, Ta’Leah, and Brielle, brothers and sisters, Kimberly, Victor, Reginald, Elesha, Jennifer, Jamelle (Daniel), Sonya, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a loving son, husband, father, friend, and provider.
