Marvelle"Velle" Barbee

Marvelle “Velle” Demond Barbee 31, of Lorain passed away suddenly on March 31, 2021. He was born June 27, 1989 to Donald and Alishia Barbee. Marville was born and raised

in Elyria, Ohio but later moved to Lorain, Ohio. Marvelle attended Elyria High and later achieved his G.E.D. He was a machinist, specializing in Tow Motors.

Marvelle loved many things such as fishing, dancing, traveling and being silly. He had a passion for music and his voice was one of a kind.

He leaves his wife Alycia (nee Geiger) Barbee, Six children and two step-children. La’Marea Roldan, Di’Jon Jackson, De’Adre Jackson, Syr’Velle Barbee, Hayde Barbee,

Katurie Barbee, Xy’Ryah Geiger & Quashawn Wilson, Jr. He loved them dearly and loved spending time with them all.

He also leaves behind his father Donald Barbee, Sr. of Elyria, along with his siblings.Tameka Franklin of Michigan, Donald Franklin of Wisconsin, Roy Killings, Donald Barbee, Dominique   

McGee all of Elyria, and Lakeya Barbee of Michigan. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts  and friends.

Marvelle was preceded in death by his mother, Alishia J. Barbee and grandmother, Blossie Wright.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 16th (walk through only) from 10 to 11 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 326 Fuller Road, Elyria. Funeral services will follow immediately for family only. Burial

will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Social distancing and Mask are required
