Margaret Denise Walker

Margaret Denise Walker, 54, was born to the late Jimmy Walker and Sarah Worthy Walker o February 3, 1965 in Lorain. She departed this life on January 28th 2020 in Lorain, Ohio from a sudden illness. She was a loving grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend to all.

She attended the Lorain county School System and was a member of the Fairfield Baptist church. She later moved to Hollywood, Florida and then to Stone Mountain, Georgia before returning back to Lorain, OH.

She worked at Dover’s Nursing Home as an aide, Lawson as a cashier, Lorain, Dunkin Donuts, as a cashier, and Ross Dress for Less as a cashier, sales associate in Hollywood, Florida, Curtis 2000 as a bookbinder, Flexible Metal Hose as a machine operator, and other various warehouse positions in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

She was a very mellow person and loved spending time with her grandson, Jamari, and a homebody who LOVED watching TV and her shows “Wheel of Fortune” dancing, playing cards, playing Ten Thousand (dice game), listening to music, and enjoyed toe company of family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Sarah Walker; son, Jimmie Walker; grandson, Jamari Walker; brothers, Alton Worthy, Bruce (Cathy) Worthy, and Tracy Walker; sisters, Anita Hardy-McCall, Gloria(William) Bacon, Cheryl Walker, Doris(John) Dalton; a host of loving nieces, nephew, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Jimmy Walker; sister, Peggy Worthy; brothers, Vernard Worthy and Odell Walker.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00noon in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 3001 Elyria Ave., Lorain, OH 44055
