Mandy Lee Tatum (aka Lee) was born on May 12th, 1941, to Lena Hughes and LJ Fluker in Edna, Alabama. She was called to be with the Lord on Friday May 3rd, 2024, after a brief illness. She moved to Elyria, Ohio at the age of 15 to live with her aunt and uncle where she attended Elyria City Schools.
She graduated from Elyria High and later started a family. Lee worked for Invacare Corp for many years before she retired. She loved the Lord, family, shopping, watching soap operas, and helping others. She never met anyone that she didn’t want to help. She had such a big heart and will be sadly missed.
She was a loving mother of five children, sons; Richard Fluker (Mary) of Mississippi, Floyd Tatum, Jerome Tatum, Daughters; Vicki Fluker (Abdul), and Felicia Allen, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, who all love her dearly. She also leaves behind her companion of many years Calvin Milton. Lee also has three sisters; Henrietta Hughes, Josephine Hughes, and Linda Fluker, two brothers; Donald Hughes and Robert Fluker. A special Thank You to her caregiver and granddaughter Allonna Davis and two very loving helpful angels Alexis Fluker and Zaria Tatum who are also Lee’s granddaughters. That just goes to show just how incredible, wonderful, and loving Lee was. She also leaves behind a host of friends and family who had the pleasure of being in her company.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lena Hughes and father LJ Fluker, stepmother Mandy Fluker, ex-husband Robert Tatum, grandson Lewis Fluker, sister Emma James, and a host of other family and friends who have gone to be with the Lord.
