Lori Ann Walton

Lori Ann Walton passed away at 3:05pm surrounded by family and friends at UH Elyria Hospital.

She was born on September 11, 1968, to Mary Ellen Smith-Walton and James V Glinsey.

Lori enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and the game greedy. Lori loved to dance, laugh and drink. She worked as a housekeeper and factory worker. She adorned her children and grandchildren. 

Lori leaves to cherish her memory daughters Lalethia Black, of Elyria, Jalethia Black of Indiana, son Jerome Cannon Jr of Elyria, Sisters Jacquelyn Walton, Garnettia Kelly, Gwinettia Walton, Kathleen Walton, Doretha Glynn, Sakina Glinsey, Toya Glinsey of Elyria, Brothers Murphy Clarence Walton, Eric Walton, Darryl Rula Johnson of Elyria, over 15 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Lori was preceded in death by her parents Mary Ellen Smith-Walton and James V Glinsey, beloved brother Michael Walton and sister Debra Woodruff. 

A viewing will be held on Saturday June 1st, 2024, at 10am with a celebration of life to follow at 11am located at Carter Funeral Home 127 W Bridge St in Elyria, OH. 

Repast will be held at 1452 W River Rd N Apt B Elyria, Ohio 44035 immediately after services.
