Linda F Mahone

Linda Faye Mahone, 71, of Elyria, completed her transition peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2021, surrounded by family in her home. She was born on June 20, 1950, in Ripley, TN, to the late Thomas K. Parker and Frances Parker. 

Linda is a graduate of Elyria High School and retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, studying the Bible, and watching westerns. 
 
Cherishing her memory are her husband, Nathan Mahone; children, Raju Mahone of Columbus; and Tamesha Mahone of Elyria, five grandchildren, Dhenaisia, Franklin, Tamia, and Nathan Bryant, and Claire Mahone; great-grandchildren, London, Mylon, and Franklin Jr. Bryant, and Devontai “DJ” Smalley; sisters, Roslyn Parker, Donna Jennings, and Constance Mitchell; brothers, Gary and Desmond Parker; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

She was preceded by her parents, Thomas and Frances Parker; sisters, Mary Parker and Derry Parker; brothers, Sonny and Thomas K. Parker, Jr. 
 
 

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM for viewing and visitation followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 PM, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 W. Bridge St, Elyria, OH, 44035.
