Lillie Mae Moses 95, of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on January 13, 2021 surrounded by family.
She was born on February 18, 1925 in Schley County, Georgia.
Mrs. Moses was employed as a homemaker for over 50 years in the state of Georgia. When not working, she enjoyed caring for her children, nieces, nephews, and neighbor’s children.
She also enjoyed cooking in her spare time, attended Church of Baptist Faith while living in Georgia. After moving to Ohio in 2014 she faithfully attended Christ Temple Apostolic, Oberlin, Ohio.
She will be sadly missed by her children Juanita Griffin, Elyria, Jacqueline Johnson, Chicago, Illinois and son Homer Moses Jr., Warrensville, Hts., OH; sixteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband Dan Moses; parents Nathaniel and Vera Parkman; children Olivia Higgins and Raymond Moses.
A walk through visitation will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Carter Funeral Home, 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria. Burial will be in Lumpkin, Georgia. T.V. Williams Funeral Home, 233 Milliken Ave, Richland, GA. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you are REQUIRED to wear a MASK and Social Distancing is necessary.
