Lewis "Squeak" Thomas

Lewis (Squeak) Thomas, 47, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2021 at University Hospital. He was born June 21, 1974.He enjoyed music, basketball, playing cards, donating to local churches, and helping others.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Betty (James) McGhee of Elyria; step-father, Fred (Brandi) Alston of Elyria; children, Toree Martin, Kobe Thomas, Lewis Gallagher and Caleb Sears; sisters, Shirlena Wright, Syreeta Thomas, Endeana Thomas; brother, Fred Thomas;  and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rexel Ricky Canty; grandparents, Sarah Canty and Rexel Durham, Betty (Ollie) Thomas; uncle, David Thomas; niece, Alexis Lewis, nephew, Dashawn Lewis; and grandparents, Myra and Peter Alston.

Family and Friends will be received on July 16, 2021 at the Call Out Church-Almighty God, 7809 West River Rd., Elyria. A walk-thru will be held from 11:00AM until 12:00 Noon and the “Celebration of Life’ will follow at 12:00Noon, Burial at Brookdale Cemetery/Elyria. Flowers and Donation may be given to Carter Funeral Home 3001 Elyria Ave/Lorain.
