Leonard Hildreth Obituary

Leonard F. Hildreth, 47, died unexpectedly November 4th, 2021 at home. He was born February 13th, 1974 in Elyria, the son of Harrison Hildreth and Dora(Trammell) Hildreth. Leonard graduated from Elyria High School, Class of 1992. Following graduation, he served with the
U.S Army Reserves and worked for the City of Elyria for over twenty- five years. Leonard enjoyed writing and reading poetry, taking care of his grandmother, and putting a smile on people's faces.

In addition to his father the late Harrison Hildreth, he was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather George Hildreth and his maternal grandparents Adolphus and Marybelle (Turner) Trammell. Leonard is survived by his paternal grandmother Roberta(Peters) Hildreth, a sister Deanne (Hildreth) Hodges, a brother Kwame Hildreth, a niece Amani (Wise) Rivas whom he treated like a daughter, a great niece Aqsa Rivas, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 at 10am at Carter Funeral Home in Elyria 127 West Bridge St and the funeral will immediately follow at 11am. Burial to be held at Brookdale Cemetery.
