Lawrence Johnson Pope 70, of Elyria, received his wings on Sunday April 16th, 2023, at Greenbriar nursing home after a short illness.
LAWRENCE was born June 5, 1952, in Myrtlewood, Alabama to the late Henry G Pope Sr. and Prettie Crim (Dial).
LAWRENCE is survived by his mother, Prettie Crim, sisters Sandra Pope, Tanya Pope, Jacquilin Pope-Freeman all of Atlanta, Georgia, and Cheryl Pope of Elyria, Ohio. Brothers Henry G Pope Jr (Susan), Johnathon Pope (Melissa) of Elyria, Ohio, Timothy of Wichita, Kansas. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
LAWRENCE is preceded in death by his father Henry G Pope Sr. and brother Leroy Pope.
A viewing will be held Friday April 21, 2023, at Carter Funeral Home 127 W Bridge St Elyria, Ohio 44035 at 4:30-6:00pm.
Lawrence Pope service has been Entrusted to Dennis Carter and staff of Carter Funeral Home.
