Lamont Maurice Casey of Buffalo, NY, transitioned home on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at ProMedica Hospital in Toledo, OH. Casey resided in Fremont, Ohio and was born on September 3, 1960 in Buffalo, New York. He dedicated himself to his family and friends.

A unique soul, Casey lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed exotic animals, drawing, being creative and spending time with love ones, and he will be greatly missed.

Casey is survived by his son, Donald Casey of Lorain, OH; sand sister, Minnie Lee Anderson, of Buffalo, New York and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Maurice Casey Jr.; parents, Beatrice and Sam Casey Sr.; sister Dolliemae (James) Newell; brothers, Sam Casey Jr. and Jesse (Veronia) Casey Sr.

Friends may be received on Friday, November 6, 2020 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel/Lorain 3001 Elyria Ave, Lorain. A Walk-Thru will be from 11:00a.m. until 11:30a.m. The Celebration of Life will start at 11:30a.m.
