Lakisha Baker Obituary

Lakisha Baker, 44, of Lorain, went home to be with the Lord August 29, 2020. She passed of natural causes.

Lakisha enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was well loved by her Alcoholics Anonymous family and had 13 years of continuously sobriety.

Lakisha is survived by her son, Jason Baker 21, mother Cheryl Ann Baker aka Zenobia J Grant, father Jeffery L Grant, sisters Zenobia "Tonya" Jones , Jerri-Lynn Grant, and several nieces and a nephew. She will also be missed by Pegi Dito, a dear friend and advocate and her AA family.

She preceded in death her maternal grandparents Robert and Mildred Baker.

A memorial will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 in The Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 3001 Elyria Ave, Lorain from 11:00am until 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, at a later date. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you are required to wear a mask and social distancing is a must.
