Obituary
LaRon Maben, 58, of Elyria, passed away at Ames Family Hospice House, in Westlake, On the morning of Tuesday, May 9, 2023, following a short illness. He was born October 31, 1964, in Elyria, Ohio to Bobby and Lavada Maben.
He was a resident of Lorain County and a graduate of Elyria High School. LaRon was employed at Rae-Ann Westlake Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He enjoyed fishing, cooking, dancing, and spending time with his family & friends he was truly the life of the party.
LaRon is survived by his sons Andreus (India), Devin (Brianna), daughter Charna all of Columbus, Ohio. 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Mother Lavada Maben, Sisters, Sandra A. Maben, Pamela R. (Pastor D. Anthony Bohles), Karen L. (Pastor Willie Gardner), Rhonda L. (Donald Frazier), Collette V. (Pastor Joel DiAngi).
LaRon was preceded in death by his father Bobby Maben, Niece Ammal Gardner, and brother Dennis Maben.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church
326 Fuller Rd., Elyria, Ohio 44035 at 10:00 am with a celebration of life following immediately at 11:00am.
Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery.
