Kimm L (Reed) Addis

Kim Reed, 68, departed this life on November 15, 2024, at her home in Oberlin, Ohio.

She was born August 15, 1956, the daughter of Jim Reed and Rita (Jackson) Mason. Her daughter Turzan Nelson and brother Gregory Reed proceeded her in death.

Kim Reed Addis was 68 years old. She resided in Oberlin, Ohio with her brother Kyle Reed. She is also survived by her brother Jerry Reed of Santa Cruz California and Brian Reed of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She graduated from Elyria West High School and LCCC with an associate’s degree in nursing. She went on to receive her nursing degree from Cleveland State University. Nursing was her passion, and she served the community with a spirit of excellence, while in her profession. 

Kim was an advent writer. She enjoyed sending letters and cards regularly to her friends and family.  She was always in touch with the family she cared for and loved. She will be missed by her brothers, family, and friends.

Visiting hour will be held on Saturday November 30th, 2024, at 12pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 1pm located at Carter Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St Elyria, OH.
