Kimberly McCray Obituary:

In the early morning of August 29th,2024, our Heavenly father dispatched his Holy Angels to St John's Hospital to surround Kimberly and usher her into a peaceful transition. Relieving her of her illnesses. 

 Kimberly McCray was born January 6, 1968, in Lorain, Ohio to Shedrick McCray and JoAnn Burks. She grew up in the Lorain County area where she attended school at Oberlin High School and JVS.

She was employed at Oneill Health Care.

Kim was lovingly embraced by everyone she came in contact with. Her sweet personality and peaceful spirit were infectious. She enjoyed being around her friends and family and listening to music. One notable fact was she loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren. 

 She leaves to cherish her legacy of love and memories to her only child Morgan McCray by Perry Williams. She is also survived by her parents Shedrick McCray and JoAnn Burks and her siblings Cynthia Burks, Connie McCray, Charles McCray, Tracey McCray, Monique Daniel's, Sean McCray, Mario McCray, Casandra Griffin, Jason Dampier, Shawn Dampier and Andre Dampier.  Also withstanding are her 5 stepchildren Anthony Williams, Dominique Williams, Leland Mills, Perrion Makuch Paris Makuch, Shamera Williams, and a host of grandchildren, family and friends.

Family will receive family and friends on Wednesday September 11th, 2024, from 10am -12pm with a celebration of Life to follow immediately after. Services will be held at God's Kingdom 431 Washington Ave Lorain, Oh.

Burial will be at Brookdale 41600 Oberlin/Elyria Rd Elyria, OH 44035.
