Keith A Harris

Keith A Harris 66, of Elyria, Ohio transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home on Sunday June 26th, 2022. Keith was born on May 13th, 1956, to Samuel Harris and Dorthy (Nee Johnson) Harris.

Keith attended Admiral King High School and went on to graduate from “The” Ohio State University.He was a member of Church on the North Coast and a member of the Prime Timers and a Wall of Fire Life Group. He also started a Wednesday men’s bible study. Keith loved the Lord and wanted everyone to know the goodness of Jesus

He was an active member in the community before his knees went bad lol. He was a third ward councilman in Lorain, oh, a substitute teacher, counselor at the Nord Center and served on various boards. As you can see, he was a jack of all trades. He was currently self-employed helping others get their credit back in shape.

He was a true Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers fan. He also enjoyed watching “The” Ohio State University Football. He loved to fish, play dominos, and enjoy life with his family.

 He leaves to cherish his memory. His beautiful wife of 31 plus years Ruth, His children Joe, Angie, Tehonna, Tony, Jessica, Crystal, Sharde, Keith jr. and Christopher. His special grandson's chocolate and vanilla Kyree and Michael. And several other grandkids, a brother Janatus (Chauntelle) Harris, godchildren Jeremiah and Jocelyn Eldemire, special son Robert L. Harris, special friend/brothers Keith Duncan and Cedric Whitfield and a host of other relatives.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Dorothy Jean Johnson-Harris, grandparents Everett Johnson SR. and Bessie Fox-Johnson.

Services will be held on Friday July 8th, 2022, viewing at 10:00 am celebration of life begins at 11:00 am at Church on the North Coast, 4125 N. Leavitt Rd. Lorain Ohio 44053
