Judy Ann Williams

Judy Ann Williams, 69, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was born on Tuesday, January 17th, 1956, to Geneva Williams and Author Worthy.

Judy went to Boone/Hawthorne Schools and graduated from Lorain High School in 1972. She assisted with gardening with her mother (Madea) planting collard, mustard and turnip greens, tomatoes and flowers. She was baptized at Greater St. Matthew A.M.E. Church and sang in the choir; joined New Creations Baptist and Compassion Baptist Church, now known as God’s Believers in Christ Church. Judy loved her family and Church family with all her heart.

Judy survived by her son, Myron Williams, grandsons Braeden Williams, Kingston Williams; her sisters, Myrtis L. Barlow, Cynthia Y. Rowser, Katrina (Tina) W. Williams-Herndon; a host of nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother Geneva Williams, aunt Jessie Johnson, grandfather Sam Calamese, grandmother Ada Green, sister Gennett Green, brother-in-law’s Rogers Rowser, Sr., and Elton Herndon, nephews, Jerry Barlow and Jermaine Howard.

 A viewing will be held on Friday June 27th, 2025, at 10am with the service to begin at 11am located at God's Believers in Christ Church 520 W. 22nd St Lorain, OH 44052.
