Joseph "Joe" Lynch Obituary

Joseph Lynch “Joe” 87, born in Demopolis, Alabama, and later moved to Elyria, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 10, 2025, and is now at his eternal resting place.

Joseph was affectionately known as the beloved son of Della Mae and Ernest Lynch. He was a devoted and loving husband to Eleanor and a father to three wonderful children: Lucinda, Leticia, and Lester. He was also known for his southern hospitality and was an extremely reliable, hard-working man.

He spent 29 years at the General Motors Fisher Guide plant in Elyria, where he formed lifelong friendships with his fellow workers. After the plant's closure in 1990, Joe began work at Life-Care Ambulance, where he worked as a driver for 17 years, finding deep fulfillment in helping others in his community during their most vulnerable moments.

Joe's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was a dedicated member of Second Calvary Church of God in Christ in Elyria for over years. He served as a Deacon, treasurer, and actively participated in various church ministries.

A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at A New and Living Way Ministries in Amherst. Joe's legacy of love, kindness, and service to his community will continue to inspire everyone who knew him and will never be forgotten.
