Joe Robert Wilson was born August 9, 1950, to the late Jean Ezell and Jessie Wilson Sr. In Choctaw Alabama in 1971 while Joe was working at the Veterans Hospital in Montrose NY. He was drafted as U.S. Army Veteran; Joe loved his family as well as his country. He served honorably as a 36C20 Lineman during the Vietnam War. He earned the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Service Medal and Overseas Service Ribbon.
On September 21, 1974, Joe married Claudine Evans.
After being honorably discharged from the Army, Joe continued to work at the Veterans Hospital in Montrose, NY. Joe had several jobs; he worked at St. Peters School for Boys as a bus driver for many years, he drove charter buses for Mt Kisco Bus Lines, and he drove trucks until he retired.
Joe leaves to cherish his memory 4 sons Antonio Cureton, Antione Wilson, Joe Robert Wilson II, and Jamel Wilson, 2 daughters Keisha Wilson and Tai Wilson, 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and host of nieces and nephews.
Joe is preceded by his parents Jean Ezell and Jessie Wilson Sr. One daughter Claudine Wilson and one Aunt Jane Ezell.
