Jo Ann Horton (Brown) was born in Campedo to James & Daisy Horton and attended Durling Middle School & Clearview High School during her High School
years. She was an accomplished Tennis Player and as her life evolved after high school, she had 8 children 5 boys & 3 girls.
She attended L.C.C.C where she studied Psychology. She loved being involved with her children playing Football, Baseball, Basketball & Volleyball. She
really loves her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren (We think more than us LOL). As the years went by her entrepreneurial spirit rose & rubbed off on her
children & Grandchildren from selling her crafts to dinners & everything in between! She was a very intellectual & loved human being.
In death she leaves behind her children: Edward Brown Jr. (Lawrenceville, GA), Jo Nelle Brown (Lawrenceville, GA), Tyrone A. Brown (Lawrenceville, GA),
David L. Brown (Lorain, OH), Eric L. Brown (Lorain, OH), Jo Nette Brown (Lorain, OH), James Harold (Lorain, OH), Jo Anna Harold (Lorain, OH), & will
forever love her last son, Tyrone White (Lorain, OH), Ex-Husband Tyrone (Tony) Harold, Boyfriend - Michael (Mike Dogg) Walden (Suggie, Matt &
Michelle) along with 33 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren a host of Nephews and Nieces with a Neighborhood full of adopted children.
She was preceded in death by her parents James & Daisy Horton, Brothers & Sisters: Isaac Horton, John Horton, James Horton, Timothy "Timmy" Horton,
Mary Ann Tillman (nee Horton), Louise "Lou Lou" Jackson (nee Horton), Rose Ann "Rosie" Tillmon (nee Horton), Martha "MiMi" Horton, Grandson - Paris J.
Brown, Great Grandson - Jayden L. Hopson, Nephews and Nieces: Jeffrey Sr., Richard "Richie" & Christine Tillman, Joseph Harold, Adopted Son George D.
Blakely.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 15th, 2023, at 3pm at Carter Funeral Home located at 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain, OH.
