Jeremy Robinson Obituary

Jeremy Darnell Robinson crossed over to be with the Lord January 19th, 2023, at the age of 43 after a long illness. A Sheffield Village resident, Jeremy spent his entire life and friendships in the Northeast Ohio area, being a great hand to local communities, including his church, Original Glorious Apostolic Church where he was baptized October 29th, 1994.

Born in 1980 to Janiro and Lenore, Jeremy graduated Regent Academy high school in 1999 and went on to attend the North Carolina branch of Johnson & Wales College's culinary school, before transferring to their Norfolk, West Virginia location to finish his courses. With cooking as his specialty, he went on to work for several restaurants as a chef, including his own independent catering.

Jeremy enjoyed a wide variety of music, including gospel, blues, hip-hop, and rock. He also showed musical interests of his own, as he knew how to play a little bit of the electric guitar. Jeremy was a big fan of sports, enjoying the NFL, and his local teams, the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians.

A very humble individual, Jeremy Robinson had a large and loving personality. Caring, respectful and gentle, he would go above and beyond his means to help out others. Family unity meant a lot to him. He held his elders in high regard, and was an honest, straight-talking man. He had a great sense of humor, an excellent prankster, and knew how to make people laugh.

He was a big momma's boy and would always check on her at the expense of himself. His only nephew Ezekiel, he spent a great deal of time with during his time, like a father. Jovan, his first cousin, were raised like brothers. His best friend since high school, Keith Payne, was like a brother to him, someone to confide in, and long-time friends Latrice R. and Schana B. were important fixtures in his life. Kim Carter and her sister "Puddin" were Jeremy's babysitters back in the day.

He is survived by his mother Lenore, his younger brother Demein and his nephew Zeke, Michael and Daphne, and stepfather Jose Lind. Also surviving him are his many aunts, uncles, stepbrothers and stepsisters, cousins, extended families, and his many friends from all walks of life.

Services will be held on Tuesday February 7th at 1pm-2pm located at Carter Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St Elyria, Ohio 44035.
